Barcode purchase date?
Can you tell from a barcode when something was purchased? Is there some website where you can enter a barcode and tell when it was purchased?

A barcode is simply an electronic reference number for the item used either for easy reordering of the item or for retailers to put the code on their system with a price of their choosing (so the checkout can scan it without needing to punch buttons as on old cash registers)

List three advantages of RFID technology over barcode technology?

- RFID tags do not have to be visible to be detected/scanned. For instance a tagged item could be inside a box and yet still be scanned.
- RFID systems allow scanning from further distances than Barcode scanning.
- Several items can be scanned at the same time with RFID systems vs. the one at a time method that barcode scanning uses. For instance it should be possible at some point for you to roll up with your grocery cart and be given a total within a few seconds, instead of the cashier having to scan each item.

How do I send baseball or event tickets via email?
I am selling baseball tickets online. However I need to send them to the buyer as soon as the auction is over. Is it possible to send the barcode information somehow so the person can use the tickets on the day of the event? I have the tickets on hand but I want to make sure that the person will have the tickets on time before the game.

Send them priority/certified and make sure you buy some insurance, if anything happens to them your screwed.
