Do the barcode scanners at grocery stores work as an id scanner?
Im in an argument with a guy who says the scanners used to scan the barcode on items at stores can scan your id and tell them your info. Im pretty sure this is b.s. but can someone please explain how they can or can not. Im pretty sure you have to get a seperate id scanner for that.

what sight to use to look a similar dishwasher using the model number?
i took out the moter of a dishwasher and now i want to look up the name and brand of the dishwasher this moter came from. the moter has a sticker on it showing its part number, model number, and some thermal protection. i like to look up this dishwasher. i forgot what the one i got this from is called.
i want to go to a sight that will help rather go to an actual store.

What do sampling rates have to do with audio reciever performance?
My audio receiver (Pioneer HTS-GS1) supports 96.0 KHz sampling rate (according to my computers sound tests), and I noticed that some higher end receivers advertise “192kHz/24-bit digital-to-analog converters.” What does this mean in terms of performance and audio quality if I’m watching HD movies or playing music from computer?

can I print an iron on transfer on a laser printer even if the pkg says to use ink jet?
I want to use a laser printer to print out iron on transfers, because the colors are more vibrant-will it affect the heat transfer? Is there any solid reason the ink jet should be used?
