    Odd probability 5 out of 10 exactly the same as even probability. Joshua is telling porkies every number has the same probability of being rolled that is 1 chance in 10

    okay, here goes.

    as it is a ten sided die, and assuming all outcomes are equally likely, the chance of rolling anyy particular number is 1/10

    therefore, the probability that Shannon rolls an odd number (1,3,5,7,9) is 5/10 or 1/2

    The digits that come up on each roll are: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1,0 (10 is made up of 2 digits, 1 and 0)
    You have 2 chances of rolling a 1 and this would make the probability of rolling a 1 2/10 which is equal to 1/5

    hope this helps

    EDIT: it would not be a 2/10 chance of rolling a 1 as there are now 11 digits that could eventuate, 0-10.
