All you English-grammar whizzes?
Below is the wording from my resume (ignore the formatting it just looks crazy because i copied and pasted) – Anyway, I had a prospective employer tell me that I had random capitalization through out the resume… I know the First Letter next to the bullet points should be capitalized but i’m not sure which ones can be .. un-capitalized? if that’s a word… Need some help!!!

Seasonal Marketing Coordinator
Kings Island Theme Park, Mason, Ohio (5/08-10/08)

•Face-to-Face Guest Satisfaction Surveys in the park
•Research competing theme parks to generate future possibilities for Kings Island
•Traveling outside of Park to promote park events and distribute marketing materials
•Practice Guerrilla Marketing techniques to promote park events
•Managing Group Picnics ranging from 50-4,000 guests
•Wrote verbiage for bulletin, flyers, and misc. marketing materials

Thank you! Both great answers. I dont really know why I capitalized so much!! Good advice also about including my achievements in my resume, thank you!

Face to face guest satisfaction surveys.
Park in the middle of a sentence 9unless the place is called Park) needs no capitalisation.

I agree too many unnecessary capitals throughout.

I think tht for your latest job you could include not just what you did but what you achieved.
Guerilla marketing for instance.
State what business did you generate and how..

    If it’s not a proper noun, there’s no need to capitalize it. For example, why would you capitalize “End-Cap Displays”? I would also get rid of the word “verbiage” (which is not a synonym for “wording;” it actually means “overabundance of words”), and I would change “flyers” to “fliers.”
