Are laser scanners used in CAD/CAM technology safe?
I am planning to have my dentist make an Empress crown for me in his office. He needs to use a laser scanner to take a picture of the teeth. Is there any harm to the eyes? Congentially, I have shortened optic nerves in both eyes and am more sensitvie to protecting the eyes.
