Are prepaid shipping return labels supposed to have an address?

Are prepaid shipping return labels supposed to have an address?
I printed out a return label from Amazon.com, and all it has is two barcode scanners printed on it. I tried to give it to the mail lady, and she said it needed an mailing address (makes sense), but I’m wondering now.

Best answer:

Yes, I believe so. Maybe there was a glitch with the printing. I would contact Amazon to make sure one way or another.

Well you may find that the bar code could be scanned at the Post Office. If the mail lady cannot scan it , perhaps she does not think it safe to bring it with her without the return address. Also you may want to just go there to the post office and have the clerk scan it. Also google, ask, or some other search engine may be able to help you find the mail address. Go to the site of Amazon.com, go into the contact us option and there you should be able to find the address, also it may just say mailing address in some part of Amazon.com..
