BAR CODE system installation?

Is there any company who can install a bar code scanning system in a medical office? How do I go about doing this? Is there any website for any company who does this stuff?

    Many IT service providers are capable of doing it, some may have specific experience with barcode systems, and others may also sell them, so it depends.

    Who takes care of your computers and networking? Are they able to provide this service?

    I’m sure I could source the hardware/software, setup/install, and maintain such a system. I’ve worked for a number of clients in the healthcare field over the years. However, I have only minimal exposure to/experience with barcode systems in particular and mostly that has been in the retail industry.

    So if you can find a freelancer or small IT business owner like myself locally, you could possibly save on the cost as well since us small guys tend to have a lower overhead. Of course, there are other pros/cons to the independent or small business vs the large IT firm as well as the issue of using someone who does barcode systems all the time vs someone who just has the general knowledge and experience required to be able to.
