Barcode…Help?
If I put a barcode label on each piece of clothing in my inventory and then someone wants to buy something do I just scan the label and it automatically checks that item out of my inventory so I dont have to worry about any errors.

Do you have the software to do this? You need special software to keep your inventory and to recognize the barcode.

You could use a data acquisition software. It reads the barcode and saves the data into your application for inventory purposes. Some data-acquisition tools has also logging features for later data processing and analyzing, so you can answer questions like “which data was received at a certain time”.
