basic free retail POS/Inventory system?
i work sprint store as a salesman and we have ne inventory system what so ever. i spoke to my boss and he agreed to pay me if i could set up an inventory system for the store. the problem is that the retail pos we use is overly complicated for what we do, and we dont really know how to use it (we got it for free). i was wondering if anybody knows of a fairly simple pos system that would do what we need without being overly complicated. we just need a inventory system and a point of sale system that looks professional and is easy to use and will allow the employee to apply discounts on the spot. extra features are nice and we can use more that that but those are the essential features. thanks

You can give inFlow Inventory a try. They have a free version that is free forever, but limits to 100 products and customers. Their paid version is pretty affordable too.
The software itself is very easy to use. It handles sales, purchasing, inventory, and gives you reports too.
