Can I hook up a fax through wireless network?

Can I hook up a fax through wireless network?
I recently updated from my printer to a printer, scanner, copier, and fax (for only I might add : )
Unfortunately, I don’t have a home phone line. My fiance and I both use our cell phones and then have wireless internet for our computer. Is there a way to connect the fax with the wireless network? Thanks!

Best answer:

You need a land line for a fax machine to work. There are companies that provide a service to convert your fax from an internet digital format to an analogue format and send it to the recipient for you via a regular phone line, but you have to subscribe for the service with a monthly fee.

Normally, you would need to connect the fax line to a landline. However you are not using a landline, so try this:

Find an online fax number to receive and send your faxes. It’s a nominal charge less than $10 monthly.
You are able to send without a phone line as well. Do a search for online faxing….

It is cheaper than having a landline and far less noisy on receiving faxes as you will have an online in and out box.

These companies simply do much of the admin work for you as well as providing a toll free number which is great for saving long distance charges. Here is a link direct to the features of one company.

Hi, maybe you can try some fax softwares. Just google “Fax Server” and there is a lot for you to choose.
