Can I return a Nordstrom item my friend bought for me two months ago?
I know I should have returned it earlier but I just didn’t have the time. However, the real problem is that she didn’t give me a gift receipt. I do still have all the tags on the sweater because I never wore it. The tag with the price and the other barcode is still there. So would anyone know if it’s possible to return the sweater? Thanks in advance!

Does you friend have the recpiet or gift recipet? If so you could probaly return it. Look at the back of the recpiet it usaully has the returning policy and it will say what is the time limit.

Yup, you can definitely return it. The barcode, not the one that describes the product (the UPC code), is actually the gift receipt.

I have a purse i need to return and it was a gift and i have the box with the sticker receipt but it may have been a year or so ago. I never used it and it has been just sitting there. Is there anyway to tell when it was actually purchased. I dont want to return it passed a year, that feels tacky. The purse was just too old lady for me and I didn’t want to be rude by asking for a reciept. Thanks : )
