can someone help me build a simple (or maybe not too simple, but not that advanced) transistor circuit?

can someone help me build a simple (or maybe not too simple, but not that advanced) transistor circuit?
i need to know how to use transistors (or a different component) to make it so that power is running to a pin on an integrated then when the positive power turns into negative power it switches to a new pin on the integrated circuit then when it turns back to positive it goes to another pin (different than the first). i need this so i can build a barcode scanner. (if you don’t know why i need this for it please don’t ask about it)

Best answer:

sounds like u need a counter, maybe a flip-flop, and some sort of A to D controller,

You might use SCRs to provide the voltages to the correct pins.

You could use logic circuits to determine which SCR to trigger, and the reversal of power supply polarity would turn each SCR off when the next is to be turned on.
