Can someone help me find inventory software. I work in a small office and just need to track equipment?

I don’t need bar codes or any ting like that. Just office inventory, i.e. desks, phones, computers, etc. I just want an easy way to track and print reports. Such as how many dell computers, how many lap tops, how many cameras, etc. I also need to assign asset numbers. PLEASE HELP!!!

I use Microsoft Access but if you don’t have it, simply create an Excel spreadsheet.

List inventory equipment by user name, type (CPU, printer, monitor, phone, etc.), date inventoried, location, brand name, model number, serial number, device name, and IP if applicable. That should meet your needs.

I use much more information than that such as including MAC address, HDD size, RAM, etc. but then I’m in IT and need the pertinent information.

You can take a look at inFlow Inventory. It is a basic inventory system that has all the esstenials.

They have a Free version that is free forever, but limits to 100 products and customers. The software itself is very easy to use and fast to install.

    Here is their website:

    Hope this helps!
