Can you have a successful ERP without a long costly personalization like SAP does?

SAP works fine with any industry but there are also vertical ERP’s for specific sectors, like Graphic Arts, that are implemented in 6 weeks and the price is much lower as you don’t need to pay 1,000′s of consultant hrs.

Companies pay for the most expensive system and the most expensive consulting fees because they want to burn up their budget and some companies think it will impress the stockmarket analyst who willthen hopefully recommend the stocks in this company.

Less and less organizations are paying huge consulting fees to SAP partners like Deloitte, IBM, Accenture and Cap Gemini and Indian companies like Wipro and HCL are offering the same service at a much lower rate now adays.
