can you use any box to ship stuff? can you tape brown paper to the outside of it?
i have a white box that has a lot of barcodes and pictures on it. i was wondering if i can just tape brown paper on the outside of it and ship it?

facepalm.
don’t just tape brown paper to it, the paper will fall apart while its being shipped, get proper packaging

Depending on the shipper. All major companies will provide proprietary boxes for smaller items. “Your packaging” can be any box that is sized correctly and not ripped, torn or falling apart. You can put brown paper on the outside although it is unnecessary. If you do you should make certain it is very tight and secure. Mark over any previou shipping labels with a heavy sharpie and label the box clearly.

Sure can! I use brown packing paper all the time to wrap my boxes up. Just make sure you tape it up really good so it can’t tear!
