Than at my meeting with the lawyers they had said hes no where to be found that he fled the state am i just wasting my time with this shit i’m tired of the freaking waiting game. I been out work forever i cant get things i need for me or my son lawyers told me to stay at home than innsurance company wants me off bed rest =/
Best answer:
If he has a lawyer you need one too. Sounds like your getting the shuffle around. You need an attorney if it’s his fault there are plenty of lawyers that will work on Contingency (meaning they get a cut of the settlement) so your not out pocket. There are also plenty of attorneys that give free consultation dont pay over 0 for either. Check ou legal aid too and lasuperiorcourt.org good info there too even if your not in California. *Good luck*

not sure what else you can do other than talk to a lawyer if you have to, but off subject i see that the bf you had is an ex, i laugh at the pretty boys that don’t want to get dirty lol but seriously its good that your alright because its no way any truck going 30 would do that to that car unless it was a big rig and even a big rig might not have done that much

Yep you need to open the phone book and let your fingers do the walking. This guy who hit you is walking all over you. Fact is one way or the other you can put his car at the scene of the accident. It does not matter who was driving the car the person who owns the car is responsible. UNLESS he called the car in stolen before or just after the accident. When a person calls a car in stolen just after the accident he has to provide the car as evidence when you make your claim. GET a lawyer. And not one from the TV.

I think you need a different lawyer. You have an accident report that confirms the guy was in a wreck with you right? So then you argue the who is at fault “opinion” of the cop.
Then, this guy gets a ticket for no insurance too..

If I knew how to let you see pics of my son’s car after his accident, you’d feel like kin! His VW got plowed into by a woman driving a Ford Focus, and he was on a well lit interstate in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. His car had stalled for some unknown reason, and he was still in the car when she plowed into him at some high speed. Our insurance company gave us a good amount for his car, but they never got her insurance to pay back any money at all (so you can bet what that did to HIS insurance premium), and then she claimed some medical issues as a result of the accident, and then the policeman changed his story about what he remembered about the accident when he finally came on the scene, and so she filed medical stuff on our policy and we didn’t get the $500.00 deductible that we should have gotten on the accident which EVERYONE knew was her fault. My insurance people kept calling me with updates, but I had to call them and wade through their immense bureaucracy and the changing of the people who were responsible for my son’s claim before I heard they were awarding her money on her medical claim when SHE rear-ended MY SON!!!!!! I told my insurance rep that I never wanted any more “updates” from her or any other company rep, and just realize that I fully disagree with and disrespect their decisions on my son and will have insurance with them only because we have our house insurance with them. So, as “David B” says, get a lawyer. You need one!! And if I knew how to send you pics of my son’s car after his accident, I’d love to, if just for the shock effect. Everyone I talked with was amazed that my son walked out of that car with absolutely NO injuries whatsoever. They said they never saw anyone live through such an accident. Maybe it was because he survived two tours of duty in Iraq and surrounding areas, only to come home and get screwed by the very people whose freedom he was protecting. God Bless you.
