carrying ayurvedic medicines to United States?
I will be travelling from India to US shortly. I would like to carry some ayurvedic medicines along with me (which I am supposed to continue for next three months).Some of these medicines are not from any Pharmaceutical companies(they are locally made and it appears like powder like substances in bottles). Thus it dosent have any barcode or any other details in the medicine. Will there be any problem in luggage inspection on India or US airports?If yes how can I overcome that and take these medicines to US to continue my medicines.

    i feel for you but i think unless you have a prescription…you will not be allowed to carry them over there!
