Could anyone give me/direct me to a list of alternative rock record labels?

We’re a band, and we’re looking to see if we could send in some demos to some indie record labels. That would be awesome if someone could help us out.

    Rough Trade Records. They are a UK based indie label though. The Strokes were signed up by them.

    Also that guy from Lord of the Rings (Elijah Wood) started his own Indie label called “Simian Records” yeproc.com/artist_info.php?artistId=11076&page=

    Try looking at XFM radio. They apparently audition people and if they think they are good enough they let them play live on their radio station. xfm.co.uk

    They’ve had: Animal Collective, Art Brut, Cold War Kids, Gnarles Barkley, Major Lazer, The Like…etc.
