Custom vinyl waterproof label?

Hello. I was asked about custom label by a friend who owns a gas station. He needs a vinyl waterproof label which is put to pump telling customers about how to pay cash. Are there any kits that I can get to make my own such labels? Or anybody knows a good company making such labels? Thank you.

When I had such a need myself, rather than searching out a commercial kit for the project, I invented my own system. I designed my label on the computer, then printed it out in the size I wanted. For the waterproof and weatherproof vinyl covering, I used self-adhesive shelf liner vinyl — the transparent variety, and cut it about an inch bigger on each side, to provide plenty of overlap to seal the edges and hold the label on. This solution was far cheaper than any kit I could imagine finding, and the self-adhesive clear vinyl (12″ wide roll) will be usable for other projects too.

There are waterproof vinyl sheets for use in either laser or ink jet printers. Just search around and you will find a place to get them. For instance:
