Design of product, box and container???

I have no multimedia expirence and zero design ability. On the same hand I dont have 1000 to 10,000 dollars to pay a designer to help design my product box and label either. The cheapest person I found and they are very scarse around here charges 80 dollars an hour for a designer and 1000 to 1500 just for an unprinted idea. Is there anything I can do on my own for less? I want to design my own box for my product and label for the product as well so I can put it out on the market. I need the whole nine yards, label for the bottle, designed box with nutritional info, ingredients, and a logo.

    find out what sizes of labels you need, download inkscape for free from http://www.inkscape.org and lay out your design.

    In order to make money you have to be willing to spend money. I work for a company that does exactly what you’re looking for… and they’re excellent!!!!! It is well worth the money. On the other hand, with a bad design, you could ruin your chances of success.

    You should present your idea and product to someone who might be willing to invest in the product marketing for you. If you take your product to a graphic design company and can prove that it will work, you might be able to convince them to do the work for a percentage of the sales.

    Marketing your product is a science and the numbers are right most of the time.
