Does using Lightscribe cd label maker wear out a laptop?
I recently bought an Hp laptop and was surprised to find out I had a program called lightscribe. I researched what it’s for and am anxious to make my own cds labels with it but am worried if it will hurt my laptop or wear it out faster. Any advice will help.

No, it won’t.
Well, technically it does, but no more than using anything does – everything has a lifespan that goes down when you use it, such as each key on a keyboard surviving for one million presses or whatever.

No, all it does is use the laser in the cd/dvd drive to expose ink in special disks. It does the same thing when you burn a disk, burning is a literal term. It etches the metal in the cd to record information. It will not wear out faster.
