dymo 400 printer not being detected?

I reinstalled the drivers and no my dymo 400 isnt being detected by windows and the label software wont open because it doesnt detect my label maker. i tired unplugging the usb cord and replugging it and also disconnecting the power and replugging it.Any ideas

    Uninstall all the software for it. Go to device manager and right click the driver listed and select uninstall. Disconnect it first. Then immediately re-boot. After you start, download and run ccleaner.exe to clean the registry. ALWAYS let it do a registry backup before repairing. You may need to run it more than once, as some entries can appear needed until others are removed. 3 times normally. Restart again and then run the original installer. If it asks, connect the printer. Otherwise you may need to plug it in and let it self install.

    go to control panel,printer and faxes and on the top left you will see add hardware,see if your printer is there and so on.
