Ever notice how Google will do whatever it takes to make sure wikipedia isn’t #1 result on search of the day?
Like today it’s bar code. It seemed weird to be split up so I searched barcode and I was right! Wikipedia was no 1 so of course they wouldn’t do that. And like at the Holiday’s it will be “Christmas 2009″ instead of just christmas or whatever. Wikipedia is NEVER the number one result for whatever the Google icon link is. I’ve seen them be unspecific to get around Wiki, too, such as only using part of a name because the full name would def bring up the wiki.

wikipedia is always top because it is so popular, it gets massive amounts of daily hits and thats why it always top. Google doesn’t do anything to push it there
