Ford Radio Code help?
Ford Radio Code help?
Hey guys.
Recently I bought a cheap Festiva with a few things wrong with it, one of those things included a radio with no known code.
Whenever I turn on the radio the screen displays “CODE”, I also only have one hour between attempts so running from 0000 upwards will take about 10 years.
I pulled the radio out and this is what it said on the barcode on the bottom of the case;
Serial NO. 1391 7920
FORD WF-18805-DLF
—————————–
MODEL NO.
FCT035A1 – A
The model of car was a Ford Festiva 1998 Trio
Any Help is appreciated, I just don’t want to pay to get a code for a crappy radio that has a cassette player on it, may as well buy a new head unit, but I want to avoid that lol.
Besides, I miss not having a clock!

This Ford Model Number is not listed in my Car Radio Database
Also your Serial Number quoted is eight digits long.
Ford radios are made by several different manufacturers and the most common Ford Serial Numbers are usually a letter followed by six digits
such as M123456 or V123456
The only modern all digit Ford Serial Number are the radios made by FMS for Ford for their vehicles in the Far East and Australasia
If there are no further Serial Numbers anywhere on the radio casing then it will be unlikely you will be able to obtain a free code from anywhere on the Internet
