HELP With Electronic Tickets.?

What do I do with receipts? I got this in my email:

You can use this itinerary/receipt to print the boarding pass(es) corresponding to your electronic ticket either on the Internet or through a self-service kiosk or airport sales agent.

I printed the receipts off.

Where do I find the sales agent? Does he give me the ticket and then I go to check in? Or do I go straight to check in.

I read somewhere you need a barcode to use a kiosk, but my receipt doesn’t have one.

If it helps, I am Going to Birmingham Intl, UK. With Air France. & Connecting a flight in Paris.

Your e-ticket has a confirmation number on it. You can use that number to check in/print your boarding pass online 24 hours before your flight.

The airport sales agent is the person behind the counter at the airline. If you haven’t checked in online, just present the receipt to them; they will issue you a boarding pass (you need the pass to get through security and get on the plane).

Re kiosks, different airports I’ve been to have different types, but usually you put in the confirmation number and/or your name, provide the credit card used to purchase the tickets, and it accesses your reservation.
