Help with Koxen handheld barcode scanner setup?
I have a Koxen hand held barcode CCD Scanner which is connected to my P.C. via a USB Port.
The scanner powers up and reads all codes just fine (beeps correctly for all std bar codes and all setup bar codes), but I cannot get it to show anything on screen.
I have tried it in Word, Excel and note pad, but it will not transmit anything.
Please help.

My guess is the barcode scanner is not setup for a USB keyboard interface. It might be setup for a PS2 keyboard interface. See if the users guide has a programming barcode specifically for USB keyboard. If it does scan that programming code. Then unplug the scanner and plug it back in. That should load the Windows USB keyboard driver.

If that doesn’t work send me a copy of the users guide (if you have it in an electronic format) and I’ll take a look at it for you. If you don’t have the users guide let me know what the website for Koxen is. I’m unable to find their website via a search.
