The bar code, or UPC, is placed by the manufacturer and is unique to the product for identification purposes. It is then shipped to various stores. But i has no relation to the store that sells it. Each package shipped to all the retailers have the same UPC.

you would have to find out what stores you went to because you dont have a recipet. Then scan the item
