How can I know if my new Xbox 360 has the new chips in it (like, what is the new barcode, etc.)?
I just bought a new Xbox 360 Pro bundle from Sam’s Club and am wondering if there’s any way to know if this system has the new chips/motherboard in it. I really don’t want to have to deal with the red rings. Thanks for your help!

New chip and mother board? you mean the Pro or Elite they only have onboard hdmi or bigger hard drives, the board and chip are not changed. I also know about the rings and have heard of countless friends sending their xbox’s away for weeks, I bought mine at Best Buy with a 2 year if it breaks I take my hard drive (and controller) and bring the box with powersupply back and get all new stuff! and a extra controller for my trouble. (they never check)
