How can I list my DVD collection on my IPhone ?

I have an extensive DVD collection (over a 1000) and would like to list them all on my iphone so I when I am about to buy a new DVD I can check and see whether I already own it. I don’t necessarily carry a hard copy of my DVD list all the time, but I always carry my iphone :)

Is there an data-base type app that will alphabetize the movies as I enter them. This will make my life so much easier :)

Also, is there a way to scan the barcode of the DVD covers instead of typing all titles (I maybe asking for too much, but you never know)
