How can I remove the sticky glue residue from a price tag off of an electronic alarm clock?

I recently bought a new electronic radio alarm clock and it had a giant price tag on it. When I “peeled” it off, there was that sticky glue residue on the whole top of the alarm clock. That is also where the speakers are. How can I remove the sticky glue stuff from the clock without getting the insides wet and ruining it? Thanks for any help.

Wet a paper towel with goo gone. It has citric acid in it and eliminates the sticky residue.

    WD-40 sprayed on a dishrag.

Ditto on the Goo Gone. Also, I’ve found that if I pre-warm it with a blow dryer (not too hot or close, don’t want to melt the clock), it softens it up enough to help the Goo Gone do its job.

WD-40 has always worked for me. Pluss, you can use it for other things. Goo Gone, or what ever it is, has limited uses.

Goo Gone, WD-40 or lighter fluid.
