How do I create my own barcode data?
I want to be able to create my own data using code 128 for a computer app that I have. I want to stop having to enter in the username, password, etc. I can start with something simple like email, so that when I open yahoo mail, I can just scan the barcode and the username and password fields are automatically filled.

Send me an email through my website below and I’ll send you a free barcode building program that will allow you to generate code 128 barcodes (or others). Basically you’re going to install your barcode scanner as a keyboard wedge device. If you don’t know how to do that grab the users guide and it will explain how to. Then you’ll ensure you don’t have any suffixes assigned to the scanned barcode data. Typically you’ll find a barcode in the users guide to clear all suffixes. Then when you build your barcodes, you’ll build the first one and put a tab suffix in the data. Then you’ll build the second one and put a carriage return suffix embedded in the barcode data. It’s easy to put control characters on the barcodes.
