How do I properly print on a CD label?
How do I properly print on a CD label?
Okay, so I’ll start with my specifications.
Printer: Canon iP1300
CD Label: Blank UBL CD/DVD Printable Labels; width 142mm; height 284mm.
CD Label Maker: Disketch CD Label Software
My problem here is that whenever I print the label, it doesn’t print in alignment with where the CD is, leaving my sticker label with a white space.
I’ve tried adjusting the margins before printing and I’ve wasted a number of labels already and still no luck.
Does anyone know how to print these things properly? Help would be much appreciated.

If you are using Microsoft Word, create a new document using a label template. In the label options, you should be able to find a CD/Media template that matches the blank sheet you want to print on. Play around with these options to see which aligns better for you.

As in all label , CD, DVD label printers, make sure you have a 1/8″ bleed on your template. So if the label shifts, it won’t be more than 1/16″ of an inch. At least, their is no white showing and 1/16″ of an inch that is off center won’t matter one bit.
That is the best way.
