how do i register a pc game?
i recently bought a pc game, and it says class item not registered. then it pops up something to do with flash.ocx it involves a windows program that’s no longer available, but i’ve been able to play the game on line, so i don’t understand that part about flash.ocx. i’ve got the upc code, but i can’t figure out how to get to the point so i can put it in so i can register it.
the game was previously installed on my computer and i used up the trial verson of it, and i just got the pc game from a friend who found it on www.cduniverse.com i’ve got a loc number, the upc number, and it’s listed as PCG under the CFG listing on the receipt.

No, this “register” has nothing to do with “register with maker”. It’s a common confusion… In this case, the program is complaining about a “component” (part of the program) not registered with the operating system. You should reinstall it from scratch.

Uninstall your game and use software like TuneUp Utilities or System Mechanic to clean and fix your registry and harddisk errors. Then, you need to install again your game.
