How do you get a printer to work with two different programs that need different drivers to run?
How do you get a printer to work with two different programs that need different drivers to run?
I’m using a Zebra Z4M Plus printer for both in-house box labels (Label Matrix) and also for printing UPS labels. The problem that we are running into is that the two programs require different drivers. If I install the UPS drivers the printer will not work with Label Matrix. We’ve tried a couple of different things and nothing seems to be working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SHOULD be able to install the 2 drivers side by side pointing at the same device, I know for most printers you can have the postscript and the PCL drivers running alongside each other.
Then simply point the programs at the driver it likes

Agreed. Install the printer two times, each with a different driver. I’ve done it and it has worked, although not with the Zebra.
