  If you have a graphic artist helping you integrate the barcode image into the design on your product packaging, label, bag, box, or whatever your product comes in, then we would recommend that you select EPS. This vector-based EPS file is the most versatile and often most preferred format for professional graphic artists.

  If you are doing your own label and have limited access to graphic design software, then you might want to select the JPEG format as it can be opened and used in just about any software application.

  If you are very experienced with graphic design then you could purchase a barcode graphing software (about $200 to $500 for something half way decent) to do this yourself instead of having a company like us create the print-ready digital barcode image. This, however, would necessitate that you have some experience working with barcodes, solid graphic design experience, and a barcode scanner so that you can verify if what you created actually scans properly.
