How do you renew books?
How do you renew books?
I go to Edenvale library in San Jose? I have books that I need to renew and I recently have lost my library card. I know my pin #, but not the SJPL Barcode. So does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem? Thx!
Yeah, but the thing is that today is Saturday, and the librians aren’t there.
Best answer:
I have the librarian do it.

take ur book to the center
they’ll ask for a name or number(like pin)
then they re-scan the bar code

Just go and ask “Can I renew this book?” and it doesn’t even matter if you lost your library card, they have all the info on it on the computer and you just have to give them your name.

I went to your library’s website and found this:
Need to renew?
There are three convenient ways to renew your materials:
• Online by logging into “My Account”
• By phone via automated renewal: (408) 808-2665, around-the-clock
• By phone with staff assistance: (408) 808-2000 during limited hours
Do you need the barcode for the automated renewal by phone? It might be worth a try.
