how does wedding registry work?
hi i just wanted to know how does the wedding registry work. the technology part of it. when u scan the stuff with a wireless barcode scanner and then how does the list gets formulated at the counter? does it get formulated at the counter or somewher else? i hav a projectd related to this. thanks in advance

A person grabs a scanner, scans all the items that they would like to receive. It’s basically like a wish list. Usually, it stores all the information in the scanner, and when done, the scanner is returned to the kiosk or to the cashier, and the information is uploaded from the scanner to the database.

Then when a person that likes to purchase a gift, they could access the wedding registry at the store through a kiosk usually. Some stores have online access as well.
