Without getting too technical…..
This method is used where items AND their location have to be identified, and that information has to be sent to another distant location for tracking purposes.
In your example, lets say they want to know which wagon is located where. Each wagon has a unique RFID transponder, and whenever they pass by a RFID receiver cum GPS (transmitter), the item identification together with its location (from GPS coordinates) is then sent out to the satellite(s), and the central control station can receive this information and map out exactly where each wagon is.
Haha, the *** is done by Yahoo. it is the word c.u.m.
Is that a “dirty” word?!
