How long does it take for lightscribe to burn a label?
My company is looking into using lightscribe, instead of printed labels, but we have heard it takes 20-45 minutes a label, we don’t have that kind of time.

The time required to burn an image on a disc varies depending on how many bands across the radius have image content and on the selected imaging mode (draft, normal or best). Since the time required to burn an image depends on the content, the following should be used as a rough guide only::
Normal Draft
Title only
Best <4 min.
Normal<3 min.
Draft<2 min.
Title & content listing
Best<9 min.
Normal<7 min.
Draft<4 min.
Full label (with graphics)
Best<36 min.
Normal<28 min.
Draft<20 min.
The labeling process will run in the background so the consumer can work on other things while the label is being made.

Labeling time depends heavily on content, hardware, media and print mode used. Typically for title only content, a labeling time of 2-5 minutes can be expected. For full disc graphics in Best quality mode, labeling times of 20-35 minutes can be expected.
