How long to let coffee percolate?
Our conventional one went on the fritz, so I’m using the backup one, and can’t remember how long to let it percolate on the stove. It’s something like this one..but older and uglier.

I’m only using it until we get another coffee maker.

About 5-7 minutes depending on how strong you like your coffee

Depends on how much you’re making. For two cups (one 10-ounce cup in the real world), my drip machine runs about 3 minutes. That’s course ground whole bean, through a gold mesh filter. In my French press, “eight cups” (which amounts to about four real world cups), I let it steep about four minutes.

It only needs a few minutes. As long as the water is hot, that’s really the most important thing.
