How many digits is a Toyota Key Plate number?
I just purchased a Tacoma and it doesnt have a metal key plate. Incase I lose my keys I can give them that number to make a copy. Instead, I have this plastic thingy with a barcode and number ontop. So is that my keyplate? Is the keyplate a 5 digit number?

It’s 5 digits, it should have been attatched to your spare set of keys that included a gray valet key, and your dealer should have a record of your key number stored in their system.
