How many tattoos do you have? What are they?

I started getting tattoos way before they were trendy. Haha.

I have a cross on my left ribcage, for my faith

My fiancée’s name on my neck, I knew I was going to marry her when I got the tattoo (I was 14)

“Marriage is not slavery; it is not intended to tie one down” on my ring finger, I didn’t mean that you shouldn’t not be loyal, but that you shouldn’t prevent each other’s accomplishments. My first wife sucked.

I have my daughter’s foot prints from when she was 1 year old on my right shoulder

Phantom, my nickname going across my stomach

A pistol on my hip because I have always been fascinated with guns and weaponry

A biohazard symbol on my bicep because I’m “dangerous to other people” because of my mental disorders

The Japanese flag for my culture on my right leg

On my left arm it says in Japanese “we can cast each other out, but in our own special ways, all of us are freaks”

I have the symbol for the Famous Stars and Straps brand because the creator of it was the guy who influenced me to start drumming. It’s on my left shin.

On my left arm, it says “our scars are the reminders of the battles we win against ourselves” because I hurt myself a lot as a kid

On the heel of my right foot, I have a barcode. The numbers are my birthday. My friends and wife each have one of their own.

That’s a grand total of 12 for me. I don’t plan on stopping getting them any time soon.

The number of tats I have also represents the number of years I’ve been friends with my fiancée and our friends

    I don’t have any, but my son has some nice ones that I thought I’d share…

    1. On his right upper arm he has an anatomically correct heart…that looks like it’s right out of a Gray’s Anatomy medical book.
    2. In the crook of each arm he has electrical sockets.
    3. On his right inner forearm he has a pair of red scissors.
    4. On his left upper arm he had a tombstone with a ? on it.
    5. On his chest over his heart, he has Celtic knotwork with a banner running through it and the word “Mother” in Gaelic (Madha’ir). He got that one as a present to ME on my 50th birthday.
    6. On his left ribcage from his waist up to his armpit he has a tree with bare branches that span around from his back to his left chest.

    Right now the only thing I have is a hibiscus flower on my hip. I have several more I want to get.

    right now i only have 3 but i wanna get more
    1. is on my left shoulder on my back its if my grandmas name with a rose next to it i got it because im really close to her

    2. its on my right side on my ribs its of my last name i got because its not going to get carried on anymore

    3. is on my right side behind me ear its of 5 hearts for each of the first born out of my nieces and nephews

    Unfortunately, I don’t have any tattoos yet but I already have three planned out for when I can get them (Only two more years before it’s legal for me to get one).
    1) The flower I was named after on the right outside part of my calf with one petal drifting up for each year since my father died. (He named me and I’ve always wanted this tattoo as a way to honor him)
    2) An owl on my left shoulder, towards the front. I’ve always felt a connection to an owl for personal reasons (Athena and Merlin), and it’s an inside joke between my sisters and me.
    3) A small TARDIS tattoo that my sister, an amateur tattoo artist, is going to give me once she gets better and more comfortable. I’ve always loved Doctor Who and my mom used to love the shoe so it serves as a connection with her.
