Depends on your body. Some of my tattoos I fell asleep, others I wondered if I was going to be able to finish in one sitting.
Pain is a rite of passage, if you’re scared don’t do it.

They hurt, but it depends on the person. If you are going to get them, then just get them.

The thin skin under your arm is pretty sensitive, and although I have a few tattoos, I do not have one there. I do know that thin skin and areas close to a bone are the most painful places to receive a tattoo.
I would describe the pain as more of an irritating pain or discomfort. It hurts a little at first, but you kind of get a little numb to it after a few minutes. At least that was my experience.
Good luck- make sure everything is well sterilized and they use a brand new needle on you.

I got a tattoo around my left wrist, and honestly the shaving & rubbing alcohol (before the tattoo) hurt worse than getting the tattoo itself. It was uncomfortable, but not painful.
And I’m the type that winces when it comes to shots at the doctor’s office :-)

If you are trying to prove something enjoy ! A tattoo depends on your threshold to pain .. if you can take a lot of pain it won’t hurt.. if you are sensitive to pain it will hurt..Good luck

it depends on how you handle pain. everyone handles it differently. i cried when i got my phoenix on my inner forearm – it goes from my inner elbow down to about my wrist.
i’ve heard the area that you want the All Seeing Eye in called a ‘sissy spot’ because it hurts more. the wrist is also going to hurt. my fiance has one on his outter wrist and it ‘tickled’ (for lack of a better word).
like i said, it all depends on how you handle pain. i have 2 other tattoos that didnt hurt me at all

It does shouldn’t hurt too bad, it’s a tolerable pain. For me it hurts when the outlining is done on the bone. The longer the session the more it seems to hurt but it sounds like your work shouldn’t take too long. And don’t move! Everything you move they have to go over that section to fix it. I learned that the hard way!

Put the barcode on your neck and the All Seeing Eye on your forehead.

there is very little pain. people associate the noise of the needle with pain. unless you have a 4 year old doing your art work. pain is not noticeable. forget the cream artists give you. use unscented aloe vera gel. no irritation . faster healing . more colour. no pain at all.
