This is a new feature on the new burners called “Lightscribe”. You need to use a burner with lightscribe hardware, and you have to buy the expensive lightscibe discs to use with it.
I have a lightscribe feature on my burner, but I never use it because the lightscribe discs cost quite a bit more than just the plain ones I usually buy.

Buy a LightScribe Burner, like this one:

You are talking of a Lightscribe Drive, that cost a bit more than a normal RW but worth it, i use one and have no complaints, Lightscribe can be purchased from most Computer stores or on line, try one you will not look back, Cybercat.
