How to get my foot in the door with purchasing?
How to get my foot in the door with purchasing?
Hello. I currently work as a broker (bar code equipment) for a Japanese paper company. I’d say I spend about 25% of my time trying to build profit by negotiating with suppliers. Recently a career counselor suggested I look into purchasing, which is something I’ve had a passing interest for a long time. My question is how to get my foot in the door as a full time buyer. My dream migft be to be an outside buyer with internationa travel.
Thank you in advance

Unless you have the skill for the perticular job, how cananyone tell you how to go about it.
eg: chef’s experieince would make you a buyer for a hotel chain.

Save your money once you feel you have enough assets after inquiring with the party involved.Keeping in mind economy/inflation is constantly rising.
