How to make my own cloth labels?

Since I`m not interested in spending a small fortune in order to have a company make them for me.I just wonder have I easily can make tags myself in order to put a signature to my sewed work.
I just have a laptop and very little knowledge about graphic design , and a plain printer. All I know is the name I use on my work and the font I want. I would prefer a black sewed in label with white writing.
Can anyone help?

    I can design the label. Unless you really need them sewn in, you might consider a printed cardboard tag, attached to the item. You could produce this easily on your inkjet. Otherwise, you have to find someone who can print fabric, and that is not cheap.
