HP Photosmart C4580 scanner?

HP Photosmart C4580 scanner?
I have a HP Photosmart C4580 scanner/printer/copier, wireless. The printer works wireless and with my computer but I cannot get it to scan an image and send it to the computer. Does anyone know how I can get it to do this?

If you installed the printer correctly, than the scanner should work also.
Here is what you do to be on the safe side.

Un-plug the USB cable from the HP and POWER it on. Now, re-install the software and you will re-connect the USB back to the HP only when the program asks you. Let it finish the setup, REBOOT the computer, and windows will find the new hardware.

Go in the START menu and you will see under programs, the HP folder. Click on it and then click on HP solution center. Put your document face down on the glass, click on the HP solution center and you will see large icon at the top left. It says SCAN pic or whatever. Click on it. That’s it. Should work fine :)
