I am trying to connect new my Canon Pixma MP150 to my wireless network (802.11 g)?
The description through my Netgear Router (WGR614) says that I need one of their Printer Servers (PS121 or PS101), but I checked their reviews and they’re not very good. Also my Canon Pixma (MP150) is not listed as one of their compatible devices. Are there any alternatives that work with my router? Also, once I attach a printer server, will it also send the scanner images back to my laptop or is it just one-way? Or are there any alternatives for connecting it wireless (unfortunatley I don’t have Bluetooth).
Best answer:
No. You can mess around with this all you want, but it will never work right.
Just plug it into your main computer and enable printer sharing, if even that will work.
I had a lexmark, and it refused to be shared.
Get the latest drivers, or a newer printer and you might have better luck.
