i have a 2005 freightliner m2 with a mbe900 engine . my display on my dash is showing code ecu 128?
check engine light is on. have recently replace egr cooler any idea why ecu 128 is displayed and loosing power when light is on ? most of the time light is on and only loosing power with light on .

I’m not sure the codes for that engine, call a dealership or Freightliner’s Customer Assistence at 800-385-4357. That is a 24/7 number.
The power loss indicates the engine is reducing power to prevent damage to itself and to call attention to a matter which needs repair.
