I have a barcode scanner, but i can’t use it? help?

I recently purchased a “RS32 Metrologic Barcode Scanner”. My computer doesn’t recognise it and i don’t see any “bips” or lights coming out of the scanner. What can I do in order for my computer to recognize the scanner without power supply.

    1st….Call the person you bought it from and get some technical support from them for setting that reader up.

    2nd…Go to Metrologic’s support page and get softwedge… metrologic.com/northamerica/softwareguides.htm

    3rd….buy your reader from me next time ;< )
